The time is ripe to bring one of the most renowned wood species in furniture design back into the center of interest. Beech has been ignored for a long time, yet it has exquisite properties that make it one of the most applied woods for furniture making ever since. We are now pleased to welcome beech of the very highest quality and from sustainable sources to our LINK shelving collection. Beech forests are not endangered and belong to the natural vegetation and stretched across the whole of Northern Europe.
A photo exhibition by Alina Pape and GRAVUR hosted by hausen In her work, the designer, photographer Aline Pape has been questioning the effects of binary gender concepts on society for several years. In the exhibited project "Modern Gender," Pape challenges traditional depictions of "masculinity" by offering an alternative perspective that goes beyond the binary gender order. The project involves collaboration with various male-identified individuals who have been given traditionally "feminine" attributes to experiment with their gender identity. Through this, Pape aims to explore how gender roles and habits can be transformed. By questioning the normalized representations of "masculinity," Pape's project becomes a social experiment that attempts to find out how far photography can influence social processes. Cheap products are thrown onto the market in large quantities in order to achieve quick sales with seasonal trends and fashions. The companies save the wages of the designers or a time-consuming...
